The International Coaching Federation (IFC) defines coaching as, "Partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential."

Coaching helps people find more flow in your life, career, parenting, and relationships that align with your strengths, values, needs, and experiences. Coaching takes you to the next level, no matter where you are, so you can live life to your fullest potential; find more meaning, purpose, and passion; experience more joy, peace, calm, or exhilaration, and with less stress.

First, we offer an initial 30-minute consultation to assess your current levels of well-being. Next, we will share information about coaching and answer any questions you might have. A common question is how coaching is different from therapy. A good example might be, let's say your goal is to find more work/life balance. In coaching, we would focus on your future goals and how we can use your present strengths and circumstances to move you forward to achieving your goals. A therapist might focus more on your past life circumstances, especially if your coping mechanisms are interfering with daily life. A coach might support you by offering coping tools. A therapist would support you in becoming aware and process how past circumstances may have influenced your life choices. If you are unsure, give us a call and we can discuss if coaching might be a good fit.

Athletes have coaches. Executives have coaches. Everyone should have a coach, so why not a coach for every community? A coach guides individuals and groups toward discovery using thought-provoking questions that move them toward action. Coaching is gaining in popularity. 25-40% of F 5000 companies now utilize coaching to support employees in their well-being.  If you go to the doctor for preventative healthcare, then, it makes sense to have an annual check-up with a coach for your community, too. Think about how a coach can help your community to:

  • Design and implement employee well-being practices in local businesses

  • Plan healthy spaces for children, youth, teens, and families

  • Co-create and implement community-wide strategic planning

  • Strengthen community health and well-being

  • Support employee engagement and retention

  • Promote, measure, and engage citizens in obtaining optimal well-being
